What's Inside
The best of the best, the Klipsch Reference Series speakers represent the pinnacle of high-performance consumer loudspeakers. At the heart of these speakers is the same compression driver technology used in Klipsch professional cinema speakers. Their extraordinary design, featuring a Tractrix Horn and Cerametallic Cones, delivers clarity, efficiency, power handling, freedom from distortion, and reliability that sets new standards for home speaker systems. High-quality internal wiring is used to ensure superior connection from the voice coils all the way to the electronics. The RF-35 is a loudspeaker that truly lets you hear through to the original performance, to experience every detail and feel all the emotion.
Tractrix What?
Molded into a sculpted, low-diffraction baffle, the RF-35's 6 inch Tractrix Horn tweeter delivers effortlessly detailed midrange and treble. The Tractrix Horn's carefully calculated flare dramatically increases driver efficiency, allowing production of very high sound levels with minimal amplifier power and no strain or distortion. It also controls the sound's directivity (90 degrees horizontal x 60 degrees vertical dispersion), ensuring excellent coverage of the listening area while minimizing detail-obscuring reflections off of walls, floor, and ceiling. Fed by a smooth, accurate titanium-dome tweeter, the Tractrix Horn is the key to the vibrantly realistic, emotionally compelling Klipsch Sound Experience.
Bass To Brag About
So much more than just a pretty face, the RF-35's rugged, dual Cerametallic Cone woofers with massive, video-shielded magnets generate deep, powerful bass. Their distinctive anodized-aluminum -- and oh-so-pretty --copper-colored cones exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics that translate to outstanding responsiveness and near-total absence of resonance and breakup. The result is quick, clean, articulate low-frequency reproduction. Rigid cast frames -- far superior to conventional stamped-steel baskets -- maintain perfect alignment of the large, high-temperature voice coils. Beauty and beast, all in one speaker, yes!
Better Heard And Seen
These loudspeakers are finished in luxurious hardwood veneers and constructed, like all Reference Series models, to the highest standard throughout. From the drivers to the cabinets to the crossovers, cabling, and electronics, everything is built to deliver maximum performance for many years to come. Capable of filling any room with rich, full-range sound, the elegant, wood-veneered RF-35 is a tasteful complement to other furniture. It stands out in performance and blends in to your decor.

I have owned a pair of the RF3 not the 35 but identical since 2001. They join a Yamaha RX-V800 100 wattsch, Klipsch KSW12 powered sub and BIC 8 3-way in-wall surrounds and fill my large great room with crisp, clear highs and plenty of punch when the volume is raised. Dont be mislead that you have to play them loud to enjoy great sound reproduction. They deliver at a very wide range but like most speakers they will be but a wisper at the lowest volumes. Dont believe me? There are 202 other owners who rate these speakers a 4.78 out of 5 at audio review. Imaging is fantastic as you can direct the horn at ear level while the woofers deliver mids and lows to your chest below. And for me, they look great even if my wife wishes they were in-wall. I do recommend the sub for effect on video and when you want to feel some bass. Up to 440 watts through a 12 woofer is a beatiful thing. Buy em and enjoy. Got mine online for cheap and will keep them forever.

I purchased these Speakers in August last year and though the Rf-35 has been replaced by RF-82, I got the bargain I was looking for, from my dealer and went in for it! I actually had Paradigms Monitor 7s for a week before I replaced it with the Klipsch, The reason.... I like to have the music at my face, I wanted the drums beside me, and with these high effeciency speakers I have it ALL. The Paradigms are better all round speakers, but you need better equipment to drive it, I have a Yamaha 657 receiver which is rated at 95W RMS per channel and it just was not enough to drive the Monitors. The midrange of the Paradigms were so sweet and so clear, that you would think that you are in a studio, but with the Klipsch one feels that you are in a concert. But for those who want to listen to their music in 2 channel mode and not at high volumes , Stay away from the Klipsch, but if you are the head banger types like I am and if you love STAR WARS and want to feel like you are in a spaceship bring them ON!
