I just bought them due to the great price because I needed larger speakers to augment my smaller B& W CDM series in my entertainment center. I wanted something that was easily moved from one room to another but didnt want to sacrifice quality sound. I am very impressed by the quality and amount of sound that comes from these things! I used them in a large room using two Jamo 12 inch sealed subs. I recommend them and purchased them without finding any quality reviews by either regular customers or audiovideo reviews. GREAT DEAL in the SILVER finish and worth the regular price in my humble opinion.Thx Def tech for following through!

Researched front and center speakers to include Klipsch 52,62 and Definitive Tech Mythos series. Visited several retail outlets to audition the sound of these speakers.

Without a doubt the Definitive Tech Mythos one towers combined with a Mythos three center channel gave the best, fullest sound- exceptional in the middle range frequencies resulting in an enveloping sound field. Andrea Bocelli will never sound better without these speakers-only stage front passes to a live concert can outmatch!

From my point of view, I found the silver aluminum body with the black grill guard more appealing than plain black and feel the overall package adds a touch of class to my home theater system. These speakers sound as good or even better than some of the $5000 a piece towers I listened too........Definitive Tech puts out an exceptional product which is hard to match!

For your information, I have the system set up as a 5.1 with factory suggested crossovers for the Mythos one towers at 60 hz, the center at 100 hz. I have a Velodyne sub set at 120 hz, and Mirage Prestige Nanostats surrounds set to 120 hz. The Denon AVR 2809 sets the sound stage for an acceptional home theater and music hall!
