What's Inside
The best of the best, the Klipsch Reference Series speakers represent the pinnacle of high-performance consumer loudspeakers. At the heart of these speakers is the same compression driver technology used in Klipsch professional cinema speakers. Their extraordinary design, featuring a Tractrix Horn and Cerametallic Cones, delivers clarity, efficiency, power handling, freedom from distortion, and reliability that sets new standards for home speaker systems. High-quality internal wiring is used to ensure superior connection from the voice coils all the way to the electronics. The RF10 is a loudspeaker that truly lets you hear through to the original performance, to experience every detail and feel all the emotion.
Tractrix What?
Molded into a sculpted, low-diffraction baffle, the RF10's 5" Tractrix Horn tweeter delivers effortlessly detailed midrange and treble. The Tractrix Horn's carefully calculated flare dramatically increases driver efficiency, allowing production of very high sound levels with minimal amplifier power and no strain or distortion. It also controls the sound's directivity, ensuring excellent coverage of the listening area while minimizing detail-obscuring reflections off of walls, floor, and ceiling. Fed by a smooth, accurate titanium-dome tweeter, the Tractrix Horn is the key to the vibrantly realistic, emotionally compelling Klipsch Sound Experience.
Bass To Brag About
So much more than just a pretty face, the RF10'S rugged, dual Cerametallic Cone woofers with massive, video-shielded magnets generate deep, powerful bass. Their distinctive anodized-aluminum and oh-so-pretty copper-colored cones exhibit a very high stiffness-to-mass ratio and superb damping characteristics that translate to outstanding responsiveness and near-total absence of resonance and breakup. The result is quick, clean, articulate low-frequency reproduction. Rigid cast frames far superior to conventional stamped-steel baskets maintain perfect alignment of the large, high-temperature voice coils. Beauty and beast, all in one speaker, yes!
Better Heard And Seen
These loudspeakers are finished to the highest standard throughout. From the drivers to the cabinets to the crossovers, cabling, and electronics, everything is built to deliver maximum performance for many years to come. Capable of filling any room with rich, full-range sound, the elegant RF10 is a tasteful complement to other furniture. It stands out in performance and blends in to your decor.

Let me start off by saying I have been an audiophile and hi-fi guru for around 8 years now. I have owned everything from cheap home theater in a box setups to BOSE, Martin Logan, KLH, Polk Audio and Definitive Technology. I had never owned a Klipsch product before, in fact I used to bad mouth them in my own ignorance. This mentality I had quickly changed the first time I hooked up the Klipsch reference RF-10 speakers. I thought that because the Klipsch has dual 4.5 inch woofers they would not perform to my satisfaction. Let me tell you these speakers will fill a medium sized room with sound so accurate and powerful, you will want to close your eyes and take it all in. It is as if you are hearing true sound for the first time! A word of warning though, once you hear these you wont want any other brand.
One thing I would like to point out to potential buyers, these are not window rattlers or intended to be used as DJ style 3-ways...If you want that, buy cerwin vegas with twelves. These speakers are for people who truly appreciate the acoustic qualities of fine music and movies, not casual listeners or party goers.
I would also like to add that the people you deal with here at vanns are extremely courteous and very professional. I have been nothing but satisfied with the customer service, prices, and quality shipping procedures this company practices. With large expensive items they will double box your item with foam cushions or air bag strips to make sure your product is not damaged. Given the choice, I would not shop anywhere else but here. If Vanns has what I am looking for, Im buying here!

I picked up one of these bad boys in April 2008.
No words can explain how happy I am with these amazing speakers.
It is important to have a matching set of speakers because not all speakers are created equaly.
When I got these speakers I set them up with old MTX speakers and the Klipsh RF 35S are hands down louder, more present, crisp, puncher and had strong bass.
These Klipsh RF-35 are Ten Times more active, they require less power to put out way more superior sound than the MTX speakers.
I had to replace the old MTX with a full set of Klipsh.
Now I can truly say that I now have a true 7.1 system.
I feel like Iam at a high end movie theater at home.
My Onyko TX-SR 805 with 130 watts per channel realy makes these babys sing with no distortion at all, and let me tell ya I LIKE IT LOUD.
