Definitive's StudioMonitors are very compact, high-performance, magnetically-shielded, full-range bookshelf speakers. The StudioMonitor 350's non-resonant monocoque cabinet features Definitive's elegant piano-gloss black lacquer endcap/wraparound grill cloth styling. Enclosed are a 1" pure aluminum dome tweeter (the same basic tweeter used in their flagship BP3000TL), perfectly blended to Definitive's signature 5.25" cast-basket high-definition bass/midrange driver, tightly coupled to a planar-technology pressure-driven, 8" side-mounted bass radiator.

Small package, big sound

The StudioMonitor 350's sonic performance is truly stunning, producing huge razor-sharp, three-dimensional sonic images combined with incredible detail, ruler-flat frequency response, and rich, full bass. Because the StudioMonitor is a true full-range speaker (26Hz - 30kHz) with extended low-frequency characteristics, it delivers superb performance both as a stand-alone speaker as well as when combined with separate subwoofers (which they are designed to seamlessly blend with).

I couldnt be happier so far. They are much smaller than you would think, but perform amazingly well paired with my Denon Av amp. they are not even broken in yet and they reproduce music at clear detailed levels and have plenty of mid bass punch standing alone. Blu ray movies are simply awesome these replaced 10 year old JBL Northridge speakers mated to my Velodyne sub. Wife even likes the, smaller footprint than the JBLs with three times the sound. I also bought the Deftech 1.2 x bipolars for the year surrounds but havent found stands yet for them. You truly do get what you pay for. Nothing comes close to these at any big box stores.
