These bookshelf speakers use 0.75â€� tweeter coupled with Klipschâ€™s Tractrix horn technology to deliver high efficiency sound, along with a magnetically shielded 5.5â€� woofer to support lower frequency sounds, all with a footprint less than . . . well, a foot. Pulling back the curtain

You may be asking, â€œHow does a speaker like this produce such great sound, yet stay so small?â€� Well, the answer is in Klipschâ€™s Tractrix horns. Take a piece of paper, and roll it up into a cone, talk through it, and then youâ€™ve got the general idea of how the Tractrix horn is able to create a larger soundstage without having to be very large — it focuses the way that the sound waves meet the air. However, Klipsch takes a few extra steps to make sure that the sound you get is not only more efficient, but also gives it a wider range by matching the tweeterâ€™s lower end to that of the woofer to create a better match within the speaker. Further design considerations make sure that the horn reduces speaker distortion in order to create more life-like sound, and also creates a wider sound-stage so that you can enjoy the sound improvements from a greater number of angles. My friend bought this speaker and invited me to listen to how good it sound. I am impressed. Have been looking around for a good deal and Vanns deal catch my eye. A friend of mine also bought one.

I brought them to use as surround sound speakers since its compact. It has a space sound for its size. 75 watts is perfect since my Yamaha AV receiver is rated at 70 watts.

I have Klipsch F-2s [fronts], C-2 [center], S-2s [side surround], and the B-20s [rear surround] to round out the rear of the system. They sound amazing just like the rest of the Klipsch line up that I have purchased. I got the B-20s as a part of a call in sale that Vanns had, I couldnt be happier with the price they gave me. I would recommend these as your fronts if you did not want to deal with floorstanding speakers or you are short on space. Klipsch just keeps making great products and Vanns allows me to be able to afford them. Thanks again Vanns.
