Set up wa Marantz 2 channel, 40 watts per channel receiver, and used primarily for music. The speakers are great bookshelves. I tried and returned others because of lack of punch - hard to find in bookshelves. The RB 81 IIs have 8 inch woofers and they make a difference. Ive had them less than two weeks and they have warmed up nicely. I believe they will be even better when I follow Klipsch advice and elevate them on stands to seated ear level. Overall, great speaker and Vanns free shipping a huge plus.
