MicroTractrix Horn
The new 90 degree by 40 degree MicroTractrix Horn used in this Synery Series Quintet II speaker package incorporates the advances of Klipsch's Tractrix® Horn technology in it's most compact application ever. Integrated into the front baffle to minimize diffraction, the horn delivers high output, low distortion, broad dynamics and, most importantly, true Klipsch sonic character.
Exceptional Enclosure
The elliptical enclosure is not only an aesthetic consideration, but also reduces the negative effects of internal standing waves. The cabinet is manufactured from Stone Mineral Compound (SMC), a material used extensively in professional loudspeakers. SMC is twice as dense as common ABS, providing superior damping characteristics and neutralizing unwanted resonance. Surprisingly large sound for such small speakers is a result of the ported bass-reflex enclosure, which uses a rear-firing port to produce more bass as well as increased efficiency.
Quality Components for More "Drive"
All five speakers are a 2-way design. The four satellite speakers use a 0.75" neodymium magnet dome compression driver with the patented Klipsch Tractrix® Horn and one 3.5" woofer. The included center speaker uses the same high-performance, high-frequency driver and 90 degree by 40 degree Tractrix® Horn as the satellite speakers, adding two 3.5" woofers for superior dialogue reproduction and positioning. All speakers are magnetically shielded so you can place them near the TV without causing any picture distortion.
Placement Flexibility
Offering the ultimate in placement flexibility for your home cinema system, the Quintet II satellites incorporate a unique pedestal design that may be used as a stand for bookshelf placement, or easily swiveled for convenient wall mounting.
What's in the box?
Your Klipsch Quintet II speaker system includes a center speaker and four satellite speakers.

I received these speakers one week ago and could not have been happier. For the small size these pack a BIG punch. Crystal clear highs and perfectly level mids. The center channel, when combined with the Velodyne VX10, gives real life voice response with high impact sound reproduction. Vanns.com has the best price for this system and I would recommend this system to anyone looking to get great sound, on any budget!

I bought these for using the 4 satellite speakers as rear speakers in a 7.1 setup. I use the center on another system. For rear surrounds, these are great. Theyre small and wall mountable.
My only gripe is they tend to sag when wall mounted. I tightened them up and I got 3 of the 4 to hold, but the 4th would sag no matter what. I took it apart and put a rubber washer inside it to make it tighter and now it stays.
For their size, theyre great, but they dont sound as good as some higher end floor or bookshelf speakers. I wanted something small to mount on the wall and these are perfect for my needs.

Ive owned the Klipsch Quintet II speaker package for about a month now after researching the web like crazy, and finding that Vanns had the best prices hands down. Im a digital media major with an audio emphasis, so I like to think I know a thing or two about good sound. After listening to these speakers in a variety of rooms and arrangements Ive found that for their size these satellite speakers are quite impressive. Although Vanns has their wattage marked at 100 RMS and 200 peak, they are actually 50 and 100 peak. After hearing the speakers though, I would have guessed that they were well above 50 watts a piece. They dont have the woofers to produce rich bass due to their size, but with a good sub youll be able to get the full frequency spectrum. My favorite part about these speakers is that the sound they produce is quite loud, but not harsh. They put out very smooth, accurate tones. My only complaint is that speech through the center speaker sounds like it is missing some frequencies sometimes, but for such small speakers you really cant complain. Over all these speakers are among the best for the price, and being so small they dont draw too much attention or get in the way. I highly recommend these speakers to anyone looking for great satellite speakers at a great price, but dont forget a sub!

I have to say, I have never heard a satelite speaker that had a big full sound before I heard these. I was running Boston bookshelfs for my RV and an Inf. center speaker. I can not believe they sound as good as they do. Only thing negative I can say is the speakers do not stay at the same anlge after mounting. They have a ball socket swivel and after an hour or so, they will sag. I did tighten up all the screws to adjust it, but to no avail. I ended up having to shim the cup on the ball, and now they stay, whew! I recomend these though still. I have floor standing Klipsch on my real system and can not believe how much better they sounded over my BOSE or Polk Audio. Buy these, but remember, they do need a powerful amp, at least 80 watts RMS with no distortion. Cheapo amps should have cheapo speakers, dont ruin these beauties by clipping.

I upgraded to these speakers recently. First off the price is amazing. As for the speakers themselves, they sound truly amazing. You wont be able to tell the difference between these and the more expensive quintet III. The mids are great as well as the highs. When these speakers are paired with a great subwoofer, you better watch out. You will have better sound than most movie theater systems. These speakers are easily mountable which is a plus. I am now a loyal Klipsch and Vanns customer.

Bought these speakers a few weeks ago on sale. Absolute steal!!! Would pay full price if I had to. I have these speakers paired with an Onkyo 505 receiver and the sound is incredible. I also have added a simple Sony 100 watt sub and my system rocks. My brother came into town the weekend I was setting it all up, and he told me it sounds just as good if not better than the system he has in his basement with Bose speakers. I have the speakers set to small on my setup to handle the high and mid sounds and allow the sub to take care of the bass. Great speakers for both movie surround and music listening. I would reccomend these speakers to anyone looking for great sound at an affordable price.

I ordered two sets to support 7.1 channel sound, and to leave me a matching pair of extra speakers for an adjoining room. I connected these to a heavy Pioneer Elite receiver and have been nothing but impressed the results.
The satellite speakers are compact but quite powerful. One of my favorite design features allows the satellite speakers to be wall mounted by simply rotating the base no extra brackets required. The materials of the speakers are solid and do not rattle even at 130 watts per channel. All of the speakers terminals support banana plug connectors or simple compression. My center channel is currently performing double duty no subwoofer but it is handling the extra demand quite well.
My next purchase is the Klipsch KSW-12 powered subwoofer. I am looking forward to completing the system with clean and powerful base.
