These tiny gems produce such a large luscious sound that belies their physical appearance its downright mind-boggling. The key to this is the omni-polar design which is quite remarkable. I took my wife to all the electronics superstores and a few specialty stores to audition speakers. There were a few that caught her eye and sounded okay to me that is until we spotted these. She thought they were cute I was very impressed with the tonal balance and grunt of this small system. During another tour of auditions the salesman tuned the receiver to XM where she immediately notice the stereo separation of guitars on a Joan Jett song. This was huge for me as she hears music and doesnt listen for the subtleties in recorded music. I was sold, these were the speakers for our needs. Our amazement didnt stop there, after hooking these up we watched Twister and heard the tea pot fall at the beginning of the movie as the family goes to the shelter, never heard that before. Amazing! With typical direct radiating speakers ideal listening is done 9 feet away with the speakers placed 6 feet apart and slightly toed in. With these I have them placed about 12 feet apart while I sit about 9 feet away. The sound stage projected by this setup is enormous yet still defined. Movies are where these babies really shine though as you are immersed in a wall of sound, though that sound is not so diffused as to confuse the lister of location. All in all this is far and away the best bang for your buck in this price range. I am so thoroughly impressed with this system I will eventually upgrade to another Mirage set, Ill be a customer for life.

This is my second Home Theater system, first one was a Bose, and I tell you this Mirage Nanosat system lives up to its reputation. Clear sound , great bass for its size and easy to assemble. The looks is one of the best if not the best of all Home Theater systems in the market right now. I highly recommend this system for those who appreciate quality sound.
