The HD Theater 300 home theater speaker system combines five two-way satellite speakers with a 80W powered subwoofer to fill your living room with sound-track-enhancing 5.1-channel surround sound. Compact body, room-filling sound
In any 5.1-channel speaker system, the center-channel and satellite speakers are responsible for delivering a movie soundtrack's dialogue and surround sound special effects. Each of the HD Theater 300's identical center-channel and satellite speakers combines a 1" aluminum-dome tweeter with two 2.5" fiber-composite mid-range drivers for surround sound effects with full, detailed high- and mid-frequency performance. Further, Micro Tractrix horn technology brings added brightness and realism to the tweeters' high-frequency reproduction.
Audio you can hear and feel
Mathematically, the little ".1" in the term "5.1-channel home speaker system" might seem insignificant. When it comes to the home theater experience, however, that little decimal makes an immeasurable difference. If you've never felt your recliner or couch shudder while watching your favorite action movie, you don't have a subwoofer. The low-frequency audio reproduced by a home theater system's subwoofer completes a home theater experience with full, deep bass audio that you can both hear and feel. Adding deep, controlled bass to your movie night, the HD Theater 300's subwoofer combines 80W of built-in amplification, a 6.5" down-firing fiber-composite driver, and a rear-ported bass-reflex enclosure that is ideal for installation in cabinets.
The scoop on Tractrix
The hallmark of Klipsch speakers is their bright, realistic sound, and that can be credited to the patented Tractrix Horn. The Tractrix Horn's carefully calculated flare dramatically increases driver efficiency, allowing production of very high sound levels with minimal amplifier power and no strain or distortion. It also controls the sound's directivity, ensuring excellent coverage of the listening area while minimizing detail-obscuring reflections off of walls, floor, and ceiling. Fed by a smooth, accurate titanium-dome tweeter, the Tractrix Horn is the key to the vibrantly realistic, emotionally compelling Klipsch Sound Experience. The new 90° by 40° MicroTractrix Horn used in this HD Theater 500 speaker package incorporates the advances of Klipsch's Tractrix Horn technology in it's most compact application ever. Very clean sound with a nice thump from a small but impressive sub. I recently had Yamaha speaker in my living room and I didnt realize how much I was missing sound wise until hooked these up.

For my new home theater, I wanted a set of compact speakers that could be mounted flush to the wall. These speakers fit my criteria exactly, and they have excellent sound. The center speaker projects both HD TV and DVD dialogue very clearly. Music sounds great at louder volumes as well. Overall, I recommend this set to anyone needing a great set of speakers for a reasonable price.

so far I am very pleased with the sound the Klipsch HD Theatre 300 produce. The woofer provides adequate bass while the other speakers have a nice quality sound to them even when turned up loud they faithfully produce rich high and mid tone sound. I chose wisely!

To be honest I still have not calibrated the rear satellites yet. But the sound coming from the subwoofer and the 3 main satellites are amazing. Explosions rumble, sirens wail, and you can still understand what the actors are saying. The bass feels solid while the highs are sharp and clean. The midrange sounds are true to life which is great for such an inexpensive unit. Wiring the system up was easy and they supply you with mounting brackets. Matte black color is attractive and manages to blend in nicely.

These speakers have a very crisp and clear sound. They are compact and very appropriate for a smaller room. The clarity of the speakers lets you watch movies at a lower volume and still get all the effects of the theater surround experience. And when you crank them up, they maintain their clarity and integrity, letting you rock the room when you want to.

I could not be more impressed with the service from Vanns. Shipped same day order was placed. I did not find a lower price on the net. I am not truly an audiophile but researched quite a bit for a good speaker system in this price range. This system is much better than many systems that cost twice as much. Outstanding internet purchasing experience with regards to vendor and product and I have bought quite a lot, especially computers and computer parts, over the internet.

Im not an audiophile so I dont have much to compare these to but, Im extremely happy with my Klipsch speaker system. The styling is subtle and belies the price and the sound is of excellent quality, even from the subwoofer.
Vanns did a great job with the delivery - it was fast and none of the equipment was even close to damaged.

I am a big fan of Klipsch to begin with so I figured I couldnt go wrong with this system. I have a relatively small viewing area ~12x16 so I really dont need a lot of power. The size and look of the satelite and center speakers made them fit nicely. The sub is sitting on the corner about a foot away from the wall. We watched the new Star Trek movie. MAN, the room rocked! We could feel the bass through the chairs. It was not muddy. The mids and highs were also really good. Highly recommended system especially for the current price.

Well this was a tough decision to make, but I am so happy with this system. The speakers are smaller than I thought they would be, yet very powerful. If you decide to get this system, make sure you use 16 gauge speaker wire, it fits perfectly. I hooked this system up to my newly purchased Onkyo TXSR707B receiver and TOC 46 Samsung TV and needless to say, my Man Cave ROCKS!!!! The sub even though looks a little small puts out some window shaking sounds that make my dogs bark. It was very easy to set up and now I just sit back in awe. I spend the majority of my time hanging out in the basement now. My room dimension for tv watching is about 14x25 and this set up is perfect. After the initial set up, my wife came downstairs and sat down while I was watching Lord of The Rings and she looked around and was amazed at the sound these small speakers put out. This is the first real surround sound system we ever bought and we are very satisfied. Yes, I would recommend this entire set up to a friend.

The first thing I noticed about the Klipsch HD 300 speakers was the clarity and detail to sound they provided. I replaced some Yamaha surround sound speakers that were still in great shape but after comparing the sound I recieved from the Klipsh, there was no comparison. I heard sounds from songs that I have been listening to for years that I have never heard before. One thing you should keep in mind is, if you have a large living space the subwoofer that comes with this package may not be for you. Its not large enough to have the deep bass alot of people look for in a system. My living room is about 15 x 30 and it works good in that area, speading bass into our Kitchen.

I was in the market for a new surrounds sound system because my old system wasnt cutting it .
I decided that I wanted to upgrade and did some shopping around to compare systems. I also didnt want to spend a lot of money but I didnt want the system to sound cheap.
For what I do the Klipsch HD Theater 300 is perfect, now I can drowned out the neighbors when watching my favorite movie without breaking the bank.

I was looking for a good quality home theater system for a low price and I found it. The complete surround sound system with bass sound excellent in my TV room. I have it hooked up to a 55 LCD TV and a blue ray player. It definitely completes the system. The price was the best part, nobody could beat the price for a high quality system. Klipsch is a good quality speaker and worth buying.

After months of mind bending research on the web and at retail stores, I decided to see if an affordable speaker system would be comparable to the high end market. I made the decision that the Klipsch HD Theater 300 would be the best pick for my application, which was mostly based on room size with budget in mind.
I started searching for the best price online and thats when I discovered Vanns. Not only did they have the best price, but also a great user-friendly website. I received my order in a timely fashion, and in immaculate condition.
After installing these speakers and spending the rest of the evening listening to them, I realized that these speakers were comparable to my previous Bose Accoustimass speakers. The only negative thing to mention would be a slight lack of sub performance, and when I say slight I mean it in the most minimal way possible. Considering its size, I would say that it is one of the best subs I have ever heard in its class. The satellite speakers have an excellent rich tone with a very clear and distinctive high that never gets to the point of distortion. One cannot go wrong with this system, it is hands down the best system I have ever heard all around for the price, and I would strongly recommend pulling the trigger if this system is on ones shopping list.
