I bought this system to replace my existing 7.1 home theatreOnkyo Polk towers as it was occupying lot of space in my apartment. So here is my experience Pos Very good looking silver speakers6. Amazing surround. Excellent Woofer bass. premium quality wires. Easy to setup. Cons Very less volume whole system compared to my previous 7.1. Not as expected output when you directly connect 6 speakers to AV receiverOnkyo SR607. Very Expensive. My first experience with Bose A 16 was very good and decent experience. It was producing a quality output sound compared to the Polk towers and Onkyo surround speakers. When the size of the complete system is 10 of the existing one. It was very easy to setup and needs little adjustments on the placement of the speakers. The surrond back6th speaker works brilliantly and is equal to the standard 2 surround speakers in any other systems. This system may not be as good as the latest Acoustimass 10 speakers but they are equivalently superior quality speakers. Especially the center channel which is so small can produce crystal clear sounds and vocals. No adjustments are required to hear the dialogues in the movies dts HD and Dolby HD. Overall a very good experience and very satisfied. Very Expensive, but I got the system for $700 so very fortunate. But compared to the systems of the same cost org $1100 this system is very very expensive. There are better systems in Polk, Klipsh, KEF, Mirage but support from BOSE has the upper edge. and also the system has extended warranty from the manufacturer along with the purchase.
