Bose 151 outdoor speakers.

These speakers may not have the thumping base of there larger and more expensive counterpart, the 251's. But, they are just as durable. This is the third set I have purchased. The first set was sold with my last house. They were 8 years old. That was 8 Cleveland winters and summers without a problem. My second set is still sounding like new after five years. This third set is for a gift that I know will keep on giving for years. I have a friend who is on her 2nd 'less expensive' set. As you can tell I am pleased with the Bose 151's.

This was my first purchase with Vann's. I had no problems from ordering to receiving.

I live on the coast and I had to have a speaker that would with stand all weather conditions and most importantly salt water. My hearing isn't as good as it use to be so clarity was an issue also. All the research I did brought me only two speakers that were truely salt water tested and Bose seemed to go beyound requirments. I just started a new job working on the docks so I had a chance to see first hand what the big boats were using, three boats I visted had Bose 151 the old style. One boat was a 100ft. Shrimp boat let me tell you with all the noise from unloading and this huge genarator running those old Bose speakers with paint and duct tape rocked that boat. I now have my new 151 SE these are some awesome sounding speakers I love to go out in the garage and sit in my boat to listen to music and dream of being on the water. I would recomend these to anyone in a heart beat.
