I bought a pair of these speakers sight unseen to replace a pair of trusty and good-sounding B&W Rock Solid Minimonitors. These Mirage speakers are positively jewel-like in comparison to my old speakers. They are still breaking in, but I and my family and friends are very impressed with the overall look and sound of these speakers. I beleive that Mirage puts a lot of R&D into their products and it really shows. They have extended frequency response in the upper registers. The midrange is reasonably transparent with good intelligibility. You can really hear into the mix with these speakers. Im also a fan of acoustic suspension loading for bass drivers. Not the greatest extention, but the first-order roll off gives the sound a decent foundation.
