Available in a beautiful high gloss black that perfectly complements the NANOSAT® prestige and the original NANOSAT, the NANO Center is a magnetically shielded 2-way center channel speaker utilizing proprietary OMNIGUIDE technology with a 2/3" PTH tweeter and a 3" polypropylene woofer. With power handling of 100 watts and a high efficiency of 91 dB it is sure to offer great performance for your home theater or audio system. The NANO Center is a two-way center channel speaker that creates 360-degree sound directed in a spherical pattern, producing precise dialog placement while at the same time conveying the spaciousness and presence impossible to achieve in conventional center channel speakers.

Solid Construction, Perfect Match

The OMNIGUIDE module housing the 2/3" tweeter is suspended over a 3" woofer, which is centered on a sloped platform at the top of the speaker. The cabinet is constructed out of high quality extruded aluminum. The back of the cabinet houses high quality 5-way mounting terminals for improved speaker connections. 8 ohm nominal impedance (4 ohm minimum) and frequency response from 100Hz - 20kHz +/-3dB ensures that the NANO Center enhances any home theater experience. The NANO Center is perfectly timbre matched to blend with any of the Mirage line of speakers, in particular the NANOSAT and NANOSAT prestige satellites due to the center channel's very compact size.

OMNIPOLAR

The effect OMNIPOLAR speakers have in a Home Theater system is markedly unlike traditional forward-radiating speakers. OMNIPOLAR speakers use walls, ceilings and other surface areas in the room to reflect sound towards the listener. With more reflected sound than direct sound reaching the listener, a tremendously large soundstage is created that makes the listener believe the sound is virtually coming from beyond the walls. Mirage's innovative technology creates the most realistic sound you could ever imagine. With OMNIPOLAR technology, you no longer have a small "sweet spot" in which to enjoy your speakers. With the NANOSAT Prestige, the entire room is a sweet spot.

More Ways To Mount

The NANO Center comes equipped with a unique wall mount bracket that allows the NANO Center to be mounted completely flush to the wall. Designed in such a way, it provides the perfect solution for any flat panel television. This bracket is included in the box. Also included in the box is a simple but elegant table top mount that allows easy placement on, above or below a television, or on any other flat mounting surface.

I bought the Mirage Nanosat 5.1 system last Christmas. Generally Ive been pretty happy with it. The one drawback was sometimes dialog hasnt been very clear. I bought the Nanosat CC with the hope of improving that part of the system. So far, it does seem like the dialog is clearer and louder. I am happy with my new center channel. I would recommend this to others that have purchased the Nanosat 5.1 system. There are a couple of things I dont really like about the Nanosat CC. The speaker wire connectors are at a severe angle. Its much more difficult to install the speaker wires as compared to the rest of the Nanosat system. The body of the speaker is curved on the bottom. This would not be an issue if youre hanging the speaker on the wall, but if youre setting it on the TV stand, you have to use a wedge to set it upright. I am sure at some time my cat is going to rub against it and knock it over. I dont know why they chose this arrangement.

I got this center speaker to compliment my new Mirage Nanosat 5.1. Took the extra speaker and made a 6.1 system out of it. The sound is clean and crisp and you can tell it does a better job with voices then the smaller satellite speakers. I was worried the high gloss would not go with the brushed metal look of the set but you can't even tell a difference.

The perfect compliment to my Mirage MX 5.1 -CH home theater speaker system as the center channel was lacking the proper voicing for regular TV programs, sports and even blu-ray movies. Ive owned Mirage speakers for over 12 years and they are the best for high-end audio and home theater. The omni-polar design is PERFECT for open living areas, especially for rooms with 19 foot vaulted ceilings ! Great quality and value !

Excellent service from Vanns. This is my 3rd item I have ordered and each transaction has been done smoothly with timely delivery.

The Mirage Nano Center Channel speaker was ordered from the Clearance Center to replace my old Mirage Center Channel Speaker that goes with the Mirage AVS-500 Sat system I bought 10 yrs ago. My old speaker just didnt have enough sound, but wanted to stay with a Mirage product that would work with my old AVS-500 system. The Nano CC is perfect. Great sound, clear voices and is working well with the older Mirage speakers. Good choice for an inexpensive sound system upgrade without replacing all the speakers.

Ill start by saying The Mirage Nano-CC is a great center channel speaker. I bought it to accompany the Mirage Nanosat 5.1 system I purchased last year. Although I was very happy with that system, I found that sometimes it was hard to pick up soft dialogue with a regular Nanosat serving as the center channel. Mirage is famous for their Omnipolar technology, which is great, but sometimes disperses sounds, like dialogue, that are meant to be more focused. The Nano-CC seems to overcome this limitation by producing a clearer, more focused dialogue channel, while not giving up any of the immersive field one would expect from Omnipolar speakers. I was able to compare the speaker to its big brother the OS3CC, and although the OS3CC had more range and a fuller sound, I think the Nano-CC matched my Nanosats better, and had clearer dialogue, which was my main concern to begin with.

After purchasing, I liked it so much that I actually exchanged it toward the purchase of the Nanosat Prestige 5.0 package. Although the satellites with the Prestige system really are not very different in sound quality than the regular Nanosat, purchasing the complete set allowed me to combine the two sets for 7.1 sound, without spending very much more money. Overall I would highly suggest this to anyone looking to add a center channel speaker to their Nanosat system!

I am giving it all 5s for what it is, a relatively inexpensive introduction into high-end speakers in a small package.

The Nano CC compliments the Mirage Omnisat v2 satellites and MM6 subwoofer I purchased earlier. The overall quality is very good and would work well in a small to medium size room with varying walls and surfaces to reflect the sound. The sound quality surpasses the perceived economy price.
