Beautifully made speaker. Gorgeous rosewood finish. Perfect for home theater and music. On some movies where voices are really quiet, they come alive with this speaker! Voices are natural yet dynamic, placement is perfect, pitch is dead on. Handles serious amounts of power without fatigue or sounding bright. I cannot stress enough how beautiful voices sound through this center channel speaker, they are just amazing!

I just received my new OMD-C2. The wood work is gorgeous. The sound is even more amazing. It shows great synergy with my old Mirage OM-9 front pair. I played an old 3-Tenor at 1998 World Cup Pairs DVD. Unlike my old Polk Audio CS101, which usually sticks out, the OMD-C2 seems to be disappeared. But, I can see a clear picture of entire orchestra band and the 3 tenors from my ear, so clear like never before. Its beyond my expectation. I like Mirage OM series from my experience with OM-9, but not sure about the OMD series. The new speaker configuration is very different from OM series, and quality is unproven after Mirage moved manufacturing to China. There is no more local store carrying high-end OM series speakers. Without auditioning, its a hard decision to buy an expensive speaker. I took the chance, and relieved when see the product and hear the sound. Its better in both wood work and sound still in break-in stage than my old Canada-made OM-9.

I have owned this speaker for a year now. I purchased this along with the OMD-28 and OMD-15s for a music and threater solution.
The C2 blends well with the OMD-28s for a very natural sound across the front 3 channels. The best feature is that it disappears! The dialogue is clear and detailed but the sound emanates from the screen. There is no distraction of looking for a speaker. That to me is the whole idea of a center channel is to make you focus on the screen and not call attention to itself.
The Mirage OMD theater speaker system is an outstanding performer! I recommend it highly.

This has got to be best center channel made as far as center channel only speakers go, it carrys voice as well as blends music perfectly with my matching OMD-28 towers and they are 6ft to either side of this creature. Hefty is one description but also a work of art and probably the best binding posts ive ever seen they look like jewelry, the sound seems to radiate from the screen, as long as it is placed below it and in front of it, the sound is true to the omnipolar design and seem to come from the speaker unless your right on top of it, very well engineered and has no boxy sound whatsoever.
