The Sub-10 reaches deeper and hits harder thanks to a 10", down-firing driver coupled to a highly efficient BASH amplifier that creates 200 watts of continuous power and 420 watts of dynamic power. Powerful bass technology

The subwoofer's built-in, steep-slope (24dB/octave) low-pass crossover is continuously adjustable from 40 to 120Hz. A phase control facilitates acoustical integration of the subwoofer with the other speakers in the system. An "auto power" feature enables the subwoofer to turn itself on and off (standby) automatically, based on the presence or absence of an audio signal. A blue/red dual color LED display on the front of the subwoofer indicates whether the unit is on or in standby mode.

Got the SUB10 on sale, which was a great deal by the way, to replace an older Advent powered sub. I have no complaints whatsoever about the Sub10. It works great and looks great. I like the downward firing driver and it offers all the necessary inputs along with simple controls. The only gripe would be a general one about all Klipsch products in that their product manuals are rather sparse.
