Got this sub and am so happy. IT replaced by current setup of one 8 and one 10 Klipsch. This sucker pounds. It hits really hard. The sound quality is cleaner. Extremely happy. Would recommend to everyone. What made the deal even better was that I for them at a special promo pricing.

This subwoofer is excellent! It was the perfect addition to my home theater system and well worth the $200 I spent. There are a few items I have purchased in my life where I can say wow, Im so glad I bought that, what a great product and what a great deal! ... and this is one of them. Please note that this subwoofer was going for $400 at my local big box store. I paid half price and did not have to pay for shipping. Also, the item shipped very fast and was delivered in perfect condition. This is my first purchase from Vanns. However, Ive bookmarked their site and will likely be purchasing from this business again. Great purchasing experience and great product. Thank you, Vanns!

This a great sub woofer at this price point. Has a nice strong base sound. A good addition for a nyone putting together a system on a budget.

Have an ESW C-10 with CF-70s front, CC10 center, CB5 sides and CR10s back driven by a Denon AVR991- 125 watt receiver. The sound quality is outstanding. The bass is full and lifelike. It is not too punchy and sounds natural. I have another brand 12 500 watt sub woofer in another surround system and prefer the Energy ESW C-10. It costs a few more dollars, but feel it is worth it. I highly reccommend the ESW C-10.

I couldnt be happier with this sub! Over the years I have had plenty of high end surround systems with bigger, and far more expensive subs. Dollar for dollar I would match this with others 2 to 3 times the price. It is extremely clean and tight, with plenty of bottom for explosions etc. While many subs are good for watching movies, this sub does great with music as well. It has the perfect amount of power to crank as loud as you want to go, without bottoming out and distorting. If you are hesitating at all about purchasing this sub, DONT !!! You WILL NOT be disappointed. I have a 24 X 24 room with two of these in it. I have run the system with only one and it is more than enough, I just like having too much vs not enough.

I use this sub primarily for listening to music of all varieties from jazz and classical to metal and dance and it sounds great.
Very happy that I saved up a bit longer to get this sub over the cheaper alternatives in the 100-200$ range. Compared to a friends Poik 10 in that price range this has tighter and more precise bass.
Arrived well-packed and quickly from Vanns, couldnt be happier overall.

This SUB is a great buy.
Please read instructions before anything.
Give it at least 40 Hrs of used and it will show superb bass performance.

I was upgrading my whole home theater system and was on the lookout for a quality sub when I found this one on sale at Vanns. I ordered it along with the Energy Take Classic 5 Pack. I have been very impressed with this sub so far. It is tight and accurate with music, and hits hard and deep with movies. After breaking the sub in for a few days, I put Cars the movie on for my son and gave it a decent amount of volume. The beginning race when the cars zoom by scared the daylights out of my son and impressed the heck out of me! I had never had a sub that was as powerful and smooth. This one blends great with my speakers and really adds that extra something to the system.

oh man....this subwoofer is awesome.
Deep rich bass and for 199 is a steal.....I dont think you can find this price anywhere.
I have been searching for a subwoofer for 2 months now and was gonna get a mirage but after hearing this one ....i give it 5 stars.
This was place in my living room and it so loud that my wife thought it was an earthquake. Vanns has great customer service and was very helpful when I call them.

I just bought Energy Take speakers and decided to upgrade them with the powerful subwoofer. It was the best decision I could ever make! The quality and price of both speakers and subwoofer are outstanding. Additionally, Vanns gave me the best price in the market so I saved more than I expected.
