I received a Jamo 650 subwoofer about two weeks ago. I am happy with the purchase. I bought it to supplement the base coming out of my two main floor-standing speakers, Definitive Technology BP-8060ST, which have their own 10 subwoofer drivers inside. The low frequency response in my family room, 13 ft x 17 ft, became much fuller with the addition of the Jamo 650 subwoofer. I guess that was not surprising after reading all the reviews on Jamo 650. However, the Jamo 650 subwoofer is lacking detailed user instruction for a newbie like me. I had to do some trial and error to figure things out myself during installation of the device.

I bought my Sub 650 close to a year ago now from Vanns along with my Mirage ODM5s and Mirage OMDC1. Power is provided by a Yahama RX-465 at 105 RMS watts per channel. The sound quailty is outstanding! A good test I found is Joe Bonamassa live from Albert Hall, super musical test for your speakers and setup. The audio is DTS and the audio mix of the instruments as well as the video are outstanding. Sitting at any position in my living room is like sitting center row right up front and what is amazing is you can hear the sound quality of this wonder hall in England, its like being there! Watching movies, Blu-Rays of course, is a real kick in the chest when the explosions happen, not just the big boom but that feeling of that bowling ball hitting your chest to a faint rumbling of a coming earth quake and grows till the big explosion and WOW. This Sub has plenty of power in reserve and if you enjoy the audio loud and accurate, look no further.
