If you are looking for a small, high quality subwoofer at an excellent price, this is it. With 180 watts driving a 6.5 inch aluminum cone driver and an eight inch passive radiator, this tiny speaker delivers a lot of punch. Set up is easy and controls are simple and effective allowing seamless phasing of your LR units. Keeping everything in perspective size and price, the Impact Mini was the perfect solution for my application.

above average subwoofer that consistently meets my quality standards. this sub delivers clear, concise bass throughout either watching movies or listening to music. my system consists of onkyo sr-607 receiver, energy mini take 5 classic, and a rc mini speakers for fronts. Not only are the components pleasing to the eye, they perform exceptionally well.

THIS PRODUCT HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. THE BUILD QUALITY IS EXCELLENT. THE APPEARANCE OF THE PRODUCT IS VERY PLEASING. BEST OF ALL, THE PERFORMANCE IS VERY GOOD FOR WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. THIS SUB IS A PART OF A 3.1 SYSTEM SETUP IN MY LIVING ROOM. THE SUB, COMBINED WITH A DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY LCR SOUNDBAR PRODUCES RICH FULLFILLING SOUND. ALSO, THE SUB IS VERY SMALL AND CAN BE INCONSPICUOUSLY HIDDEN IN A CORNER OR BEHIND FURNITURE.

I had one of the run of the mill home theaters in the box set-ups that I bought 6 years ago. Various parts of the systems started to go out so I replaced each piece with higher end equipment. When I got to the subwoofer I was looking for something that had a small footprint but could still deliver a punch and I came across the Velodyn Mini. Ive had it for about a month and half and boy does it deliver. The footprint was exactly what I was looking for and it delivers excellent deep bass quality to all my blueray and dvd movies as well as HD programming. Im very happy with the purchase.

I had never owned a subwoofer, always felt the bass was good enough thru the 2 large front speakers. Boy was I wrong!! After chatting with a rep from Vanns where I told him the size of my room, equipment, etc., he suggested a Velodyne 6.5 180W powered subwoofer. I ordered it and was pleasantly surprised at the promptness of delivery. Anyway, I hooked it into my system and WOW! I am amazed everytime I power the system on! Strong recommendation from me to everyone who is a doubter!!

This sub rocks it not very big in size but very bold in sound . I have had many 10s and 12s that claimed to deliver . The velodyne impact mini does that and then some . careful adjustment and room placement a must , Can be overdriven but all speakers can , Clean solid and well Built .

I was looking for a powered subwoofer while we were upgrading our home theatre system. Limited space posed a major problem. For the space available, there just wasnt much on the market.
I took a chance that the Velodyne Impact-Mini would serve the purpose, and I was very pleasantly surprised by the results. This little sub really packs a punch.
It is very compact, but dont let that fool you. It provides ample bass for our great room 20 x 20 wcathedral ceiling. It really is amazing that such impressive low frequencies can come from such a small enclosure. The sound is tight and crisp--nothing muddy here.
Beyond that, the manufacturer is first rate. Due to a bonehead move on my part, I lost the power cord. I hadnt even registered the speaker yet, but when I called Velodyne to purchase a new cord, they immediately mailed me a new one free of charge.
If space--or cost--is a consideration, you will not go wrong if you add the Impact-Mini subwoofer to your system. It is truly a gem of a component.
