The Toshiba Satellite A665-S6056 with genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (the 64-bit version), is powered by a 2.4GHz Intel Core processor. Don't be alarmed

At first, the A665-S6056 might seem a little frightening. Relax. It's not a big deal. This is the latest 21st-century technology. It's not out to set up a Big Brother program, or expose you playing games at work. I am a novice user going to school to upgrade my skills. This laptop with an I5 processor is extremely fast with many fun features, a large screen and keypad to the side, not just at the top above the keyboard. I am using it for a few games, to enhance pictures, videos, and music Speakers are awesome!. This is my second Satellite laptop and the first one lasted for many years with upgrades. Its a real workhorse!

The on-line tutorials are very helpful and give a good base on which to learn the latest and greatest features and increase your skill level.

It was very easy to add this new laptop to the wireless network and tweek it to make it comfortable and familiar and to add hardware and software.

This shiny new Toshiba is a replacement for my wifes 7 year old laptop, also a Satellite and as expected it is a delightful upgrade.
The 16 LED screen is the perfect size, and gives astonishing depth & color. Great speakers! We use a wireless mouse, so we have no experience yet with the touchpad. The laptop feels a little lighter and thinner than the old, slightly smaller machine. It also feels very well built, as do all Toshibas in our
opinion.
The i5 Intel processor feels very strong and quick. We have no experience yet with the battery life, and usually work hooked up to the grid.
The charcoalblack laptop is something of a fingerprint magnet, but we knew this going in.
In any case its easy to clean with the cloth provided.
The keyboard is excellent, but it is not lighted as we expected it to be. There is some lighting around the outer edges, but none on the keyboard proper and we feel Toshiba ads are a little confusing about this.
With a webcam, HDMI and dedicated graphics card we feel the new Toshiba is a great value.
