Rather than press 15 different buttons to turn on the TV, turn on the receiver, switch the receiver to DVD, turn the DVD player on, and play the movie, simply press "Watch DVD", and your remote will do all that for you. Done? Press "System Off" to power down all your components. With controls this easy, even your spouse can do it. But, Harmony knows that any remote that can control 15 different devices is eventually going to cause some sort of confusion, so they gave it a great Graphical User Interface. The "Harmony Assistant" guides you through what you're doing on the remote courtesy of the LCD display. And, if you're still at a loss, press the designated "Help" button (a Harmony exclusive), and you will be guided through a quick, easy troubleshooting process that asks you questions such as, "Is the receiver in DVD mode?", and uses your answers to make changes until the problem is solved. No more programming code sheets!

Gone are the days when you got blisters from programming your remote to control more than one device. Rather than set up your new universal remote using a sheet full of code numbers, simply hook your remote up to your computer using the included USB cable, and as long as your using either a Windows 2000, XP, or Vista PC or a Mac with OS X v. 10.3 with a CD-ROM drive and internet access, you're good to go. Select all your components, and program your remote exactly how you want to using the simple step-by-step instructions. Or, if you'd rather, simply transfer commands from your older control devices using the designated Learning Port. How much easier could it get?

I have the the older 880 which has been a very good unit , and moved to another room. Now the 880 Pro is in main room ,and works just as good as the old one . With one change ,it sets in the charging bass to charge up alot easier. Very simple to set up . Works with just about anything. I havent found one yet . Even works AC unit and remote lights.Is a Bargain at this price !!!!

This remote is fabulous. It has taken the place of every other remote I have. The only disappoint is the fact that I cant use it for my PS3, but that is because the PS3 uses bluetooth. It should not be counted against the remote.

It runs my TV, my cablebox wonderfully. I dont need to use the other remotes for anything. I was concerned it wouldnt have enough features to totally give up the other remotes, but that has not been a problem at all. I truly dont need to use my original remotes. I also dont have to worry about changing the battery since it uses rechargeables.

I had some trepidation at first about learning how to use all the functions I needed on this remote, but with repetition, it is easily learned.

I cant recommend this remote highly enough. DO NOT WAIT. I should have picked this up 5 months ago when I started looking.
Got this last night and had it set up in less than 30 mins. Operates with my 46 LCD, Onkyo TX-SR605 receiver, Toshiba HD-A30 HD DVD and SA 8300HD DVR. My only complaint is that it is not compatible with PS3 but this is Sonys fault for going with Bluetooth only rather than adding an IR port as well. There is a work around for this and I plan on adding this in a few weeks.
Set up and firmware updates were very easy with online prompts. No manual to pour over...very intuitive.
HELP button very uselful if any snags.
My 6 yr old is now able to watch TV or watch DVD etc with, literally, with the press of ONE button. The Harmony 880 changes TV and receiver inputs, turns on or off components and even opens the DVD tray. If the 6 yr can do it, imagine how pleased for wife, parent, babysitter with be.
Do yourself a favor and pick this up ASAP.
