The C2 is a 2-outlet wall mount power filter that provides premium surge protection and noise filtering for high performance AV systems. Isolated noise filter banks can improve sound and video quality by eliminating harmful electrical noise interference. The C2's wall-mountable design is perfect for today's flat panel televisions, allowing you to mount the surge protector behind the television.

The APC C3 Power Filter delivers surge protection and isolated noise filtering to wall-mounted displays. It features two surge-protected outlets, LED status indicators, and a slim profile, allowing you to install the device directly behind a wall-mounted television. The C2 Power Filter protects valuable home theater equipment from damaging surges and spikes caused by power anomalies such as lightning. Additionally, isolated input and output noise filter banks help eliminate electromagnetic and radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) as a source of audio/video signal degradation. The LED status indicators on the C2 Power Filter provide proactive notification of changing power conditions including filtering, protection, overload, and wiring faults. A detachable two-foot power cord makes installation easier and provides flexibility, giving you the option to switch to a longer cord for particular installations.

Having worked in the consumer electronics industry for close to 10 years, I have come across many different surge protectors...especially for flat panel TVs. Panamax was always at the top of my list...until now. The C2 is simply fantastic. It feels like its built REALLY well, gives you 2 outlets, and is compact enough to fit behind a 22 LCD. Not to mention, that installation was a BREEZE! If youre in the market for a flat panel surge protector, look no further than the APC C2.

I was looking around for a surge protector that had a high enough rating to actually stop a surge for my two wall mounted TVs. The APC had a high joule rating as was small enough to easily mount behind the TVs standard wall mount. The only negative is that the LEDs are pretty bright at night, but make a good night light for our guest bedroom.

I like APC and so do the the people over at AV Science Forums where I frequent. I use APC products extensively at my company to protect our servers and workstations so its only logical they must have good products for home use, right? Well I ordered the APC AV, installed it, the pretty blue lights lit up and I trust its protecting my stuff. Viva la APC.
