This surge protector has a number of factors that make it one of the best, safest, highest quality units available. Its surge trip point is lower than most - meaning that it initiates protection earlier thus minimizing the risk of a lightening strike overpowering the unit to damage protected components. Its phone line protection is very convenient. And its simple outlet arrangement is great for multiple converter plug-ins - a weakness of many surge protectors. Great unit, good price, outstanding support from Vanns.
