Rather than design "computer speakers", they took true hi-fi speakers and shrunk them to a size that will fit on your desk. Building on years of experience creating some of the world's best audio equipment, the MM-1 set will deliver the kind quality sound from your computer you didn't believe was possible. Each speaker features two impressive long-throw woofers with neodymium motors and vented chassis, not the type of stuff you'll find on other computer speakers. The tweeters are just as, if not more impressive. Installed in each of the MM-1s are two Nautilus tube tweeters, one of B&W's most pioneering innovations. Powered by an impressive digital amplifier, these drivers work in unison to deliver crisp, clear sound. To ensure that sound is just as good when you turn it up, masterful Digital Signal Processing is standard. These incredible desktop speakers are easy to set up, with a 3.5mm cord included to plug into the headphone port. From there, just plug it into a power outlet, connect the slave speaker, and get ready to be blown away. For audio purists, a USB cable is included to allow you get even better sound quality from your machine. The design and quality of these speakers are amazing. The sound quality is very clear, without much bass, so if you are a fan of bass, this is not the one you are looking for, but if you are looking for pure music, you should really check this out.

The MM-1s have beautiful sound and form factor. This is what you pay more for, and you get it. They are still small computer speakers and so don't have extremely high levels of volume, but they are more than loud enough for my and I imagine most users needs and don't distort at higher volume. Splendid sound over all ranges, including bass. They are a bit pricey, of course, and the battery cover on the remote keeps falling off. Otherwise, if you are willing to spend this much for small computer speakers, you can't go wrong here.

Another great product from B&W! I own other B&W products as well but I was a little skeptical since these are small computer speakers how good would they really sound. Plus they arent cheap. Well these small speakers sound amazing. They produce rich bass and the overall clarity is unbelievable. I have listened to various genres of music and they all sound great whether streaming or playing from FLAC or MP3 formats. I got lucky and purchased these on clearance open box item for $325. So I decided to splurge and dont regret it! Vanns as usual shipped product on time with great packaging protection.
