Simple Camcorder to DVD Transfer
The VRDVC20 DVDirect DVD recorder is the easiest way to turn home movies into DVDs. Simply connect your camcorder, VCR or other video source to DVDirect, hit record on the front of the recorder, and play on your camcorder and presto! You'll have a DVD that can be played on most consumer set-top DVD players or your computer's DVD-ROM drive. Up to 6 hours of home video will fit on standard DVD recordable or rewritable discs, and with Double Layer DVD+R DL discs, up to 12 hours can be recorded on a single disc. Real time MPEG encoding ensures the highest possible quality. DVDirect can even be connected to a computer via Hi-Speed USB for high speed 16x max. DVD burning. Don't let your precious home movies sit in a closet; breathe new life into them by burning them onto DVD and share with family and friends or just save them for the future.
Get Connected
The VRDVC20 connects directly to your camcorder or VCR with no computer required. A DV input lets you plug your digital camcorder directly into the burner, making it simple to burn your latest home movies to DVD. Composite and S-Video input allow you to hook up your VCR or ananlog camcorder, making the VRDVC20 even more useful. Finally, you can convert all of your old VHS tapes to DVD. As cool as the stand alone burning capabilities of this DVD recorder are, there may be times when you want to connect it to your computer. A USB 2.0 port provides that connection, making for high speed DVD burning/copying and letting you take advantage of the included Nero DVD editing and authoring software.
