I already own one Dolica tripod and decided to purchase this one since it has an extra lever to take steady video shots -- pan scenery, etc. It is lighweight yet handles by T2i with a telephone lense without any problem. I would not nesitate to purchase this tripod, especially if you wish to carry it with you on hikes, cruises, etc.
