The solution for you rear-projection HDTV enthusiasts

Because you have a rear-projection HDTV, and not a flat panel LCD or plasma TV, mounting your Polk SurroundBar with the included wall mount may not be the ideal solution. The SurroundBar top-mount bracket, on the other hand, just might be. This cradle-style mount is designed for use with the Polk SurroundBar and SurroundBar 50, providing a sturdy and secure base for mounting your single-speaker surround sound system atop your rear-projection HDTV. Because this SurroundBar mount (Polk part number AB4055-A) can only be used on a TV with at least 3" of depth at the top of the TV, chances are that it won't work well with a plasma or LCD flat panel. It is, however, ideal for use with deeper rear-projection and standard CRT televisions. Oh, and installation is easy — all the necessary hardware is included.

The Soundbar speaker solved a problem I had for my home theater. Having small children, I didnt want speakers on stands, fearful they could knock them over. The Soundbar has all the channels in one unit. The next problem was where to put it. I had no room below the TV, so on top was the only choice. Enter the Soundbar bracket. Specifically designed for the shape of the speaker, the bracket cradles it securely. It has adjustable brackets on the back to conform to the slope of the TV and allows you to tilt the speaker to the optimum angle. No drilling required, so installation is quite easy. If this product did not exist, I would have come up with some home made solution that would no be nearly as clean as this. I flinched a little at the price, but Im happy with the final result.
