Ive never owned a speaker stand before. Ive actually never owned professional speakers before either, but now that I own both, I think these speaker stands were a great choice to company my mirage omnisat micro speakers. The base of the stand is sturdy and large enough to not topple on its own and works well on hard and carpeted surfaces. The stands were a peice of cake to setup, but it did not come with any screws! I was dissapointed with this fact, but I managed to get the screws I needed from my local home depot. Make sure to bring in all peices for one stand including the base as well, so you can test the screws there! I went back 2 times, because the base needed a longer screw. Here are the scew details that I purchased from Home Depot Youll need 6 flat head screws of #10-32 1 half inch or #10-32 3 4th inch Youll need 4 round or flat head screws of #12-24 x 1-1 half inch When the stand is built, wired up and the speaker mounted on top, be careful when you move the stand to not apply too much pressure on the shaft. I accidently did this, which stripped the screw somehow at the bottom and had to screw in a new one. The speaker wires hide well inside the shaft. Dont strip the wires until youve pulled them out from the top first. Its easier if you strip the wirer last, because the hole isnt that big, but at the same time it is big enough!

I have the Mirage Nano Sat speakers and wanted matching stands. These are perfect for the Nano Sats. They are the just heavy enough to be very stable but light enough to move around. Very Solid construction and all the hardware was included that I needed to mount the speakers. Took me about 30 min to get all four of my speaker stands assembled and mounted. Very easy and they look great! and a pefect price! The order shipped the same day I placed it and I had the stands in 3 business days.
