With support for a wide number of iPod models, the YDS-12 makes audio, video, and photos stored on your iPod or iPhone available to your speaker system or video display. I will say this device is better than great! Ive got it hooked up to my Yamaha RXV-3800 which pumps out some serious volume into a 5.1 Definitve Audio BP-8040ST system with dual 300 watt subwoofers. Once the Yamaha YAO system recalibrated my set up the system sounded incredible using the YDS12BL dock. I highly recommend it . Plus your friends will enjoy puting their music on too as mine have.

Not a lot to say about an iPodiPhone dock & even less about one that is of a particular brand. I have wanted one of these every since I bought my Yamaha av receiver but I just felt like this dock was way over priced for what it does. I check Vanns Daily Deal everyday and one day this was available for half price. I felt that was a deal worth jumping on so I did. The dock works perfectly as it should, takes all of a few minutes to hook up, & looks good along side my other AV equipment. Im happy!

Easy to install and did as expected. With new AV equipment air play, the dock may go the dinos way of extinction.

bought this dock twice thinking that the first one was defective . I received the first one , docked my ipod and couldnt get it to sit squarely in the dock. The ipod was new so whats up with this dock I thought. . I immediately called Vanns and explained the situation. Within 2-3 days I received a new one and returned the first dock. Low and behold on 10-22-11 my neighbor came over and docked his ipod and it sat perfectly in the base ! GUESS WHAT I HAD A DEFECTIVE CONNECTOR ON THE IPOD !!!!!!!!! I am not knocking apple . I am a mac user for years. The real hero in this scenario is Vanns for giving me hassle free service even though the blame did not belong to them. SO TO RE-CAP GREAT PRODUCT, ABSOLUTE LOWEST PRICE AND GRRRREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !

We like this better than the iPod cable. With this docking station the device sits at a nice angle and takes up less room than just lying flat. Cool because now we can control with the remote. Sound quality is outstanding, but Im not convinced its an absolute necessity. Nice long sturdy cord and solidly built. Comes with the removable inserts for perfect fit with various devices.

I got this product because I wanted one remote to control my i-pod. and also get it charged. Wanted the wireless but shyed away from performance factor. Nothing fancy about the product, wait for Vanns to give you a good deal and they usually do. I am giving it a 4 because I consider pricing in the factor.

Great attachment to my home theater system small and takes up very little space. The color selected matches the system as well. One of the best features is that it charges up the i-pod or i-phone at the same time while playing. Highly recommend it.

Great product. I can plug in my iPhone and watch movies I have stored on it. Music and podcasts also play just fine. Even has a resonable on-screen navigation.
