For the money, these headphones cant be beat. I had a $100 pair of Sonys for years that sounded only a little better little better clarity, maybe brighter high frequencies. These headphones have at least 95 percent of the sound quality for less than half the price, are more comfortable, and feel as durable. Great bass, clear and smooth high frequencies. I can listen to music or movies on these for hours with little to no ear fatigue. I love the cloth ear surrounds. Much more comfy than the faux leather surrounds that would start breaking down after a few years and were hot.

Although not sound isolating headphones, they come really close. EXCELLENT sound, and the extra cord connection comes in really handy.
I highly recommend this product!

Headphones were packaged well. Included in the package is a quarter inch adapter and an extension cord for an already long cable. Once out of the package these headphones look huge but are not heavy. The base ducts are prominent and prepare you for the base that the drivers could produce. There is no volume control so adjustments are done from the external source. The overall construction is solid. The ear cups move smoothly on the pivot which is made of plastic but feels quite strong. Thankfully the ear cups are covered with cloth and not faux leather which can lead to sweating.
Sound I am a house DJ at best, and these headphones sound great. I have tried others that cost more and I would put this among the top 85. The highs are crisp, the Lows Base are quite good. Mixing music while DJing is so much easier now that most outside noises are eliminated.
Cons I have a feeling that the logo attachment between ear cups will pop if I am not careful.
-At both ends where cord is attached to ear cups and headphone jack are not well reinforced. I would suggest adding a half inch to 1 inch of shrink wrap to these areas to extend life of delecate wiring in these areas.
I would definitely recommend this item to my friends.

Ive been disappointed twice lately with headphones that dont live up to their descriptions.... not this one, though! The SEM390s description promises the blissful sound of nothing but pure music, and I cant say it any better. The sound quality is a refreshing change from the noise that seems to come with many headphones these days. The SEM390 has a crisp, clear sound, and it fits comfortably and looks great, too!
