Get All The Sound You Paid For
Just like your TV, speakers perform best when they're placed at the optimal height. You would never imagine watching your TV as it sits on the floor, it would have an odd angle. Well, sound can also be skewed if your speakers aren't placed properly. With these adjustable speaker stands you'll be able to adjust your speakers to ear height and fully experience all that musical detail you've already paid for.
Not Cheap Particle Board
This pair of simple, but elegant black-finish 31" speaker stands are not made with particle board, but sturdy energy absorbing MDF so they'll be durable. To help keep them stable and additionally minimize resonance, they come with ABS plastic push-in floor spikes to help support speakers up to 15 lbs. These stands also have neoprene pads for speaker protection and acoustic isolation so you'll be able to not only have your speakers the right height, but offer their best sound. The concealed wire path also hides those cables from view so that you're music will look as tidy as it sounds.
Purchase Includes:
8 Spikes, 8 Isolation Pads, 2 Plastic Wire Covers, 4 Pillars, 2 Top Plates, 2 Base Plates, Hardware and Instructions for Assembly.

I got these stands to support my new surround speakers. Putting them together didnt take long the instructions were simple and easy to follow. The wood is cheap, which is to be expected at this price, but they are very stable, even with my over sized speakers 13.3H x 7.5W x 9.9D, 13.3 pounds. I read many reviews before purchasing these speaker stands and was aware of the cracking problem many people have had. Many reviews have noted that the wood splits after screwing the stands together. I decided to drill the screws in slowly, and if the holes felt too small, I was going to drill them out a bit. The screws drilled in easily, but I still noticed little cracks in the wood. Im not sure if the wood is actually splitting, or if its just the veneer. I didnt want to take any chances with my new surrounds, so I bought new metal stands for them, and will likely use these for something less heavy, large and expensive. If youre buying these stands, not that they are pretty decent for the price, but you should probably drill the holes out slightly larger before screwing them together, otherwise the wood andor veneer might crack.

i ordered two sets of stands for my onkyo surround sound speakers - the 24 and the 31 feet. i heeded the warnings from other reviews about being careful not to overtighten the screws, but other than that, these stands look great and are well worth the price. i also agree with the other reviewers that the hole at the top of the stand for the speaker wires is too small and awkwardly located directly under where the speaker would be seated, but it was a minor enough issue. i just didnt bother using it, but concealed the rest of the wire through the back of the stand. vanns was great to deal with - easy ordering, shipped timely and no issues with the product arrival. all the pieces were in the box and none of the pieces were damaged at delivery.

I bought these online and some of the reviews said that the wood would split when you put them together but I did not experience any problems. I used a standard Phillips head and went slowly to ensure the wood would not split. But I do not think that it would have if I were to use an electric driver. The are well built and solid stands.

I was looking for something simple and cheap to hold up my Sony SS-B1000 as surrounds for my home theater. These do the job really well. They were easy to put together and look pretty good. They are also quite stable, that was the only thing i was a little worried about before i got them. The only con i have is that one of the main support pieces came with a 6-7 inch crack along the groove that the plastic pieces slide into. For the price, i did not feel it was worth replacing these since they still function and the crack is not noticeable due to where the stand is located. Other than that, great product!

There is not much to say-the speakers are solid, well-made, and look good in the living room. They are definitely worth the price. With a few pieces of double sided carpet tape my Onkyo speakers stay on with no issues. Some advice for easy assembly is to enlarge the the holes in the base and top slightly with a drill so that the assembly screws slide through relatively easily. That avoids any issues some reviewers have mentioned with missing the small pilot holes in the pillar sections and cracking the wood. Anyone who wants to lift hisher speakers off the floor for a reasonable price should be happy with a pair of BF31B stands.

Good quality at a good price. Fairly easy to assemble, provided you read the instructions and are careful. I only had one split because I missed the predrilled hole. I just put some wood glue in the split, clamped it overnight, and it was unnoticeable when I reassembled correctly. The plastic snap-in back covers could have been a couple inches longer, and it is possible to see the wire through the slot in front, but things can be done to remedy that. Small issues compared to the look and the price.

I ordered two pairs of these stands for the surround speakersa 7.1 system of my new home theater system. These arrived the day before the HTS this allowed me to assemble them before it arrived. Upon opening the two boxes I discovered that the speaker platforms were missing from one set of speakers. The box was securely taped so they had not been placed in there when packed. I called Sanus about this and after talking to the Sanus rep. I was told that replacements would be shipped the next day and arrive in two business days. I called on a Thursday night, and had them on Monday. That was a quick delivery and the platforms were in good shape. Sanus support of their products is tops in my book! They are simple to assemble the instructions are clear, though a bit long because of the multi-lingual instructions. Previous reviewers have mentioned that cracking the MDF can occur when screwing the platforms to the pillars. A few have written that if you carefully line up the screws to the pre-drilled holes that this can be reduced andor avoided. I followed this advice and had no problems. These stands also come with neoprene rubber pads to help isolate and grip the speaker. The stands are a great match to my speakers they look great and do the job for which they were designed. While these may be Sanus low cost stands their quality is quite high. I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great stand at a good price.

For 40 dollars shipped these stands are an excellent value. As others have stated in their reviews the speaker wire will need to be enlarged if you want to run anything more then 14 gauge speaker wire through it and there is a real possibility of cracking when tightening the screws into the base so be careful. I did get a hairline crack but it isnt bad and you would have to get down right up against the base to see it. Overall i am satisfied with them and would recommend for budget bookshelfs. If you are going to spend thousands on bookshelfs then i would look elsewhere.

The BF31B speaker stands by Sanus are OK to so-so. And actually, if assembly is successful, theyre not bad at all. IF ASSEMBLY IS SUCCESSFUL... Be VERY CAREFUL to align the pre-tapped holes for the screws, otherwise theyll split very easily. I repeat, BE VERY CAREFUL!

These speaker stands are great. Well-made product that assembles easily and set the rear surround speakers at just the right height of your sofa or couch. Nice design details hide the speaker wire too.

These stands are difficult for Vanns to keep in stock. Had to special order them, and well worth the short wait. Vanns offered email notification on these, as well other items. Puts them a step ahead IMO. Stands ordered via phone with polite and professional rep. Shipping was lightning fast and item arrived intact. Assembly of stands took 30 mins. Materials are quality and construction is solid and seems above par for price. I have them on large picture window hard surface so cannot comment on carpet placement or spikes. Their construction provides ample support for my Polk bookshelf speakers. I crank them rather loudly to jam to cds on guitar. So far after 4 sessions the stands are holding their own. Get them while you can. I cannot imagine spending $150-$200 on stands that are basically same materials and construction. After all, they are just holding up speakers, not making a fashion or brand-name impression. Way to go Vanns on yet another flawless and efficient sale!!! BRAVO...

It is a great product for the price. Read a lot of review before buying. Easy assemble 30 mn for 4 of them. Now couple pointers make sure to really put the screws in the pre-drilled hole this is crutial. Because if you are of the wood will split. Second. am lot of people complaine about having problem with the wires under the bottom platform. I have mind on wood floor with the carpet spikes on and it works just fine. I just upgraded my system from 5.1 to 7.1 and I am bying an other set.

These are fine. Honestly, I wish I had paid the extra and got the custom Polk stands...but they were 3x the price so theyll do for now.
Its a basic stand...was surprised you had to put them together, and the install isnt hard but cumbersome.
Oh...and the hold on the top to feed the wire through - not big enough for the wires.

I love them!! I looked around to all the stores in my vicinity and nobody had anything...Best Buy, Walmart etc. I found these by accident while searching the web. The cost was right up my alley and the size height of the stands was perfect. So I ordered.. I got the stands in 2-5 days as promised, set up was a piece of cake, just minimal effort to screw the pieces together and woalla . I am the envy of my peers who spent way too much on their stands or didnt get the quality I did. The best things I think are the spikes to hold the stand more firmly on the rug and the wire covers...Thanks Vanns- I loveem!

Like the name implies these are indeed basic. However theyre affordable, easy to assemble and decent looking. The finish is a powder like matte black. Theres a small gap between the two vertical boards and at certain angles you can see the speaker wire. They are my second set of Sanus stands. For the price, I have not found any stands that compare to these.
