Stand is very functional and looks good. Challenge was to install pieces in the correct location. Several parts look the same based on quick inspection and the instructions. However, subtle differences required me to take apart some of the components several times because of extra small holes that made them actually only go in one place. Reading the directions as you proceed do not provide guidance. Only in subsequent steps does one realize that an earlier part is in the wrong place. It was not a big deal but an aggravation. Parts were all of hight quality.

First of all, this is one terrific stand, whether you spend $100 or $200. The parts are solid, and the paint finish is simply excellent.
Obviously, youll have to put this together on your own, but it isnt really all that hard, though I would recommend having another person help itll at least save you some time assemble it. The instructions are actually rather good dont know what the other reviewer had a problem with and straight forward. And do READ the instructions BEFORE you actually put the pieces together, just so youll know what pieces go where. Then, make sure you do a 34 tight assembly before you mount the top sheet of tempered glass. I stupidly did a full tightening of all bolts only to have to go back and loosen almost all of them just so I could get the screw holes to line up right. But they did line up once I loosened the bolts, hence why I advise reading the instructions the pictures really do show you exactly what you need to know, and do a loose assembly first.
Anyhow, this thing is a tad heavy its metal and glass...it better be!. But once you get this thing assembled, it does look very solid, and has a great look. Speaking of the look, you would THINK that the black glass and paint would be a finger print and dust magnet, and Im sure it will be Ive only had it for a week thus far, but one good wipe with a microfiber cloth is all it takes to keep it clean. In fact, my Samsung TV attracts more dust.
Overall, if you plan on having a large TV be it DLP, LCD, or even Plasma and dont want to use a wall mount, then this stand is one fantastic stand. Just make sure your TV stand is installed on the TV properly and place it on this thing and youll never have to worry afterwards it will hold any tv up to 200lbs!. My only complaint is that the bottom glass shelf seems to be ever so slightly loose Ive tighted the necessary screws as much as I feel safe in doing without cracking the glass near the front center...so I would recommend purchasing a small clear rubber nub or whatever its called that you can place right on top of the round nob where that piece of glass otherwise would rest.
Simply put, if I had to decide whether to buy it again or not, Id buy it again without thinking. Im sure if you buy it, youll feel the same way too.
