The SenseClean washing system

The innovative SenseClean wash system uses an LED light and sensors located inside the dishwasher's tub to measure water turbidity during the first rinse. Then, during the second cycle, water level and wash time are adjusted based on the need for more or less cleaning. In combination with the LDS4821's three spray arms and five water-level directions, the SenseClean wash system brings you a precise clean that saves money and conserves water and energy by minimizing under- or over-washing.

LG's LDS4821 dishwasher combines two drying technologies for advanced dish-drying power. First, offering enhanced drying performance and energy efficiency, a condensation drying system heats dishes with hot water from the final rinse. Moisture then condenses on the LDS4821's cool stainless steel tub and is drained, leaving your dishes clean and dry without the use of an energy-wasting active drying element. Second, a built-in fan circulates air throughout the dishwasher's tub, removing water vapor and aiding condensation on the tub walls.

How low can you go? LoDecibel quiet operation

Using a specially designed combination of sound-damping materials in the tub and door and an extra-quiet Slim Direct Motor, the LG LDS4821's LoDecibel quiet system is able to reduce the sound of the dishwasher in operation to a minimal hum, even when the integrated food disposal is in use!
