A pair of distinctive "blue eyes" output meters highlights the Fiber-Optic Illuminated Glass front panel from which the controls for Balance, Volume, Mute, Standby/On, and the seven Source Selection Buttons are all readily accessible. A turn on delay prevents annoying pops or thumps while protecting loudspeakers.

Keepin' it clean with Power Assurance and Silent Switching

Delivering clean, clear sound is the MA6300's job. McIntosh's Power Assurance System is a collection of technologies that enhance performance and reliability while protecting the amplifier and loudspeakers. Additionally, Electronic Input Switching uses Digital Logic integrated circuits to drive electromagnetic switches on all seven inputs and operating functions for reliable noiseless distortion-free switching. Another technology that assists with clean sound is the MA6300's Power Guard®. This is a waveform comparison circuit that continuously monitors both input and output signals. Power Guard dyanmically adjusts the input level to avoid clipping while preventing harsh sounding distortion.
