But the engineers at KEF took things one step further, coupling the dual-woofer system with a front-firing bass-reflex port. While the vibration at the rear side of a driver can result in unwanted resonance and distortion in your audio, bass-reflex systems take advantage of that movement of air to improve audio performance.
