The third dimension. It's the future of HD home theater viewing . . and it's here. With a C7000 series LED HDTV from Samsung, you're ready for it. As a part of the C7000 series, the 55" UN55C7000 LED LCD HDTV sports integrated 3D-capable technology that, when combined with a 3D video source and 3D Active Glasses (sold separately), gives you the ability to experience three-dimensional viewing right in your living room. Samsung's 3D technology uses the same principles upon which human sight is based to achieve a 3D effect in the home theater. By themselves, each human eye sees only two dimensions. However, because our eyes are set slightly apart, each sees an object or scene from a slightly different angle. And when the brain processes the images seen by each eye into a single image, we are able to perceive depth in what we are seeing. Add depth to the height and width (2D) seen by each single eye, and ta-da: 3D! For its part, a Samsung C7000 series panel actually shows two different versions of a movie on the screen at the same time (alternating frames from each at extremely high speeds). What makes the two versions different is that they were filmed from slightly different angles. Now, 3D Active Glasses communicate wirelessly with the C7000 HDTV. Using special liquid-crystal lenses, the 3D glasses alternately block out the left or right lens in coordination with the frames flashing on-screen. Accordingly, the right eye sees only the "version" of the movie intended for the right eye, and the left eye only sees its version. Just as with normal human sight, the brain combines the two versions into one, and voilà, you see 3D. Three cheers!

Purchased this Led TV after numerous days of shopping. With the packageof blue-ray player and glasses was a great deal. Wonderful Tv with numerous options to set up to your personal preferences. Looks so much better than an LCD we bought only 3 yeas ago. Received the 3-D glasses and WOW! This TV really shines when displayed in 3-D. If you are looking for a new TV you cannot go wrong with this one.

The Samsung 55C7000 3d worked ok if it were not for the backlight around the edging i callled samsung about it and they told me this will clear up in about 2 or 3 weeks if not call them and they will replace it with a new one.

So far pretty good, need to adjust the TV to get it just right and I havent had the time to sit down and really play with all the settings. Some times I think that the picture quality is to good I can see things on broadcasts and videos alike that I never saw before. It doesnt look real at times and some of the shadows in black look a little off. Ill let you know if I figure it out, it would be great if you guys have any TV experts that could call me and help setting up some of the TVs video settings.

This is our third Samsung within the past two years and each one is better than the last. Weve had 2 LCDs and 1 LED. Although we have only had this TV for 10 days, we have been using it a lot for movie watching and gaming. The images are crystal clear just like all the other Samsungs that we have had.
We had a hard time picking between a 2D TV and a 3D one and finally ended up getting this simply because my husband wanted to play GT5 in 3D. While he loves it, I am not a big fan of the 3D feature. I did notice the ghosting problem that I read from other reviews which makes me nauseous, but then I could be bias because I get sick watching 3D in the movie theater as well.
This TV is very sleek and stylish and will definitely look beautiful in anyones home. It is rather light for its size. However, the monitor is so glossy that it reflects everything in front of the TV. Whenever there is a dark scene or black area in the scene, I could see myself sitting on the couch in front of the TV. I was utterly bothered by it the first few days but have gotten over it now.
The network was easy to set up but dont care much for the Apps that they have. We still cant figure out how to stream movies from the computer to the TV. It is hardannyoying to type using the remote control if you want to search for some videos on YouTube. Talking about the remote, it is the most stylish remote Ive ever seen. It looks a bit like the Motorola Razr Phone that was quite popular a few years ago.
The only problem with our TV is that it seems to turn itself on and off randomly. It says in the user manual that it might happen while it is in 3D mode due to interference. This had happened numerous times while in 2D mode. We have tried moving our Wii remotes, which are constantly charging next to the TV, and it seems to have improved a bit but the TV still restarts itself once in a blue moon. Hopefully, it doesnt mean our TV is defective.
Overall, we love this TV and have gotten tons of compliments from friends and families. Would I rather have saved myself $700 to get an equivalent 2D TV? Probably so... Would my husband? Probably not.

Weve had this for a week now and every time weve had friends over, even they comment on how clear and nice the picture is. It was a bit hard to put together on the stand and really requires two people - three would be preferred. Its a beautiful tv and looks great in our living room. Picture quality is amazing and the internet connectivity is cool, but I prefer my laptop. As with pretty much any new technology, there is a steep learning curve to get it set up and get the internet stuff working on it.

Overall rating a 3. Box was extremely damaged ripped and wet upon delivery although the tv seemed fine. Picture is good although when changing channels, a brief fuzziness appears then clears up - I dont know whether this is due to FIOS or the tv although I dont have this issue with my other tvs one of which was purchased at Vanns. Size of the set is great and the depth is amazing. Lastly, features seem nice.

If you had any concerns getting a 3D TV, forget about them. This TV has one of the best 2D pictures I have seen. The 3D is just a bonus. I have not tweeked one thing on the picture and it was breathtaking out of the box! I have had this for a week now and am still playing with all the great features. And Vanns is great to buy from and always has a great price and usually puts in a couple of extras. Cant go wrong with either one.

Order process was extremly easy and flawless, t/y Vann's.
Now the tv. I needed to replace a led dlp from Samsung that took a dive, was a nice tv. This new one is absolutely beautiful, from bezel to thickness or lack of.
Picture is outstanding, sound is decent for in set speakers, lots of gadgets and goodies to keep you interested.
I bought after doing research online and in person. Nothing could compare, Sony is very nice but non-hd looks very poor IMO. DVDs are as bright as my old tv on Blu-ray.
Set up was easy, lots of tweaks to screen, price bundle was incredible, I'm at 4 weeks now and Im still in awe... my tech level is pretty high.

I debated between the Samsung 55 1080p 3D LED LCD HDTV UN55C7000 and the Samsung 55 1080p LED LCD HDTV UN55C6500. After reviewing each TV, for the price and what each offered, the Samsung UN55C7000 was the best choice for me. After installing and seeing it for the first time, I knew my decision was correct. It is a winner!!! The picture is breath taking and after pairing it with a Definitive Technology Pro Cinema 800 5.1-channel home theater speaker system and a Onkyo 7.1-channel home theater receiver TXSR508, I have my own little piece of heaven in my great room! I am more than pleased with this setup. Instead of ordering online, I called and talked with Rick Hiatt. He was super to work with and provided me with very helpful info and confirmed my decisions with his expertise! Vanns, like the products they sell, cant be beat!!! Thanks for all you did!

Awsome LED TV. Honestly the best that I have seen yet. I recently purchased this TV as an upgrade from my Samsung 52 650B. I thought that it would be a hard TV to beat, but the 55C7000 takes the prize. It took me 15 minutes out of the box to set up by myselft. So easy!!! LED is way awsome, and only an inch thick! The cabinet is really slick also. I thought that I would miss my Red Touch of Color, but again with that Natural Tone TOC, I forgot about the Red. So many options with this TV. Cant wait to get all of the 3D components in so I can do the 3D movie thing now. Best purchase I have made in a long time. And you cant beat Vanns deals anywhere....not anyother retail store or online vendor. Thanks Vanns for making me a happy repeat customer.

I must come clean and say that I am not the type of person to write a review about a product... however, I recently just purchased this set and am ABSOLUTELY AMAZED over everything this set has to offer and felt the need to share my experience with my recent purchase. First off, I've been researching LEDs for months... debating if I should purchase last years UN55B8000 vs. UN55B8500 vs. the new 2010 UN55C7000. I compared and compared and saw Vanns had an outstanding price... way less than most retailers! I quickly decided to take the 3D plunge with the new 2010 Samsung UN55C7000. Well my set arrived last Wednesday and my family and I are absolutely amazed each and every time we get together to enjoy a movie or show.... AND OH, BY THE WAY, IT'S 3D! The new 2010 Samsung LEDs have every feature one could want, I can get fantasy football updates direct from the internet through the TV! Not only that but remember that funny video on YouTube you wanted to show your buddys but had to log onto your mini laptop and all huddle around a screen that nobody could see from an angle? Well on this TV, you can bring YouTube up and share the comedy on a 55-in beast of a TV. Through the wireless linkstick that Vanns offers, you are able to connect to the LiveInternet features Samsung offers by allowing you to plug a USB stick into the TV and you can then access your WI FI network on your TV. Now yes, with the 3D will come additional purchases such as a 3D Blu-Ray and Samsung 3D glasses.... And the fact that Vann's is the ONLY Authorized Samsung Retailer that is offering pre-ordering of the 3D shutter shades at a great price and will also be offering the Samsung 3D Blu-Ray... I will absolutely do all my accessorizing of the new TV through Vann's and Vann's only. I received the quickest deliveries for the products I bought and really enjoyed speaking to a live representative when I had a question about the TV. I can't wait to actually see the 3D technology operate, as it is, the TV's images are so crisp and clean. I'm a huge sports fan and recently watched NASCAR on the TV and must say that the 240HZ AutoMotion that Samsung offers in the C7000 makes it look so that there is no streaking or distortion even when the car is racing by at 200mph!!!!. With Vann's email alerts... I am excited when my blackberry chime goes off, thinking that its an email alert making me aware that the 3D shutter glasses are in stock... which are expected to arrive later this month. Basically I know that once it hits Vann's shelf will be the same day they ship me out my pre-ordered pairs for my family to now be able to take advantage of the 3D feature on this set. 3D is the new technology. ESPN will be launching a new 3D channel with many more networks set to launch their own channels later in 2010. If you're a gamer... The PS3 will also be releasing a 3D update so that people like myself who purchase a 3D TV will be able to take advantage of their new wave of video gaming... 3D Video gaming! Yes that's right, read up on it... Sony is launching 3D TVs as well later in 2010, PS3 gaming being developed is in 3D and all other manufacturers are following suit such as Panasonic, LG and others I'm sure. The new 2010 Samsung 3D ready UN55C7000 was a no brainer for me, especially at the cost Vann's is providing. Even if movies and gaming and new networks don't really sell you on the 3D feature... just know that this set also offers a conversion type of technology that converts regular 2D content into 3D viewable content... which meant that even if new networks may take awhile to come out with 3D viewing... this TV will totally convert the images into 3D regardless of the source... Pretty Amazing! I also bought the Wireless Samsung Sound Bar which has added a whole new element to the viewing experience. The sound bar doesn't require any bulky receivers or any wires running to the subwoofer. It is completely wireless and totally rocks! Its as simple as a couple wires to your TV, the sound bar is sleek and stylish matching the sleek TV. With the minimal cables and wireless technology you have a very inexpensive way to add a surround sound system all while keeping your setup very stylish. I'm a Samsung Fan and have been so impressed by the quality of product Samsung is delivering. The TV has everything I'd imagine a TV nowadays to include except so much more. I know I'm only making this purchase once and wanted to make the best decision for not only price but also for product quality Vann's and Samsung have totally delivered on this very large purchase I had made. As I had said before, I'm all ears awaiting the email alerts notifying me the Samsung 3D shutter shades are on their way. I highly recommend the new 2010 Samsung 3D lineup of products and highly recommend Vann's as the online source for the NEWEST products at the LOWEST prices.
